I bet you're thinking "Geez, not another food blog, right?"

Well, not quite. I am going to write about food through the lens of documenting the change I am making in my diet and the diet of my fiance (let's call him The Carnivore) from lots of processed and unhealthy foods-either calorie or chemical laden-to a diet rich in whole, nutritious foods.

I am going to post pictures here of meals I create so I can stop being one of those weird people on Facebook that takes pictures of what they eat. And, to keep myself accountable. I can write about a soup I made but we live in an increasingly visual world. So, "pic or it didn't happen."

The blog might save a few relationships too. I can talk about my love of beets and what I want to do with them at length (beet bread, you're on notice!). I'm sure The Carnivore is sick of hearing my food driven rants, especially when they are about vegetables. So, I'm going to work all that craziness out here, even if my mom is the only one that ever reads it.
